On June 4, 2019, Texas became the sixth state to approve the Universal Claims Certification (UCC), which was created to streamline the claims adjuster licensing process nationally. As most adjusters handle claims in a number of states, complying with the differing licensure and continuing education requirements in each state is time consuming and burdensome.
