Thigpen Energy: Houston energy companies merge into one

Sam Thigpen founded the eponymous Thigpen Energy Services in 2005 and the company quickly grew outside of Houston in tiny Cut and Shoot. Fast forward more than nine years, and Thigpen will enter 2015 as CEO of the newly formed TRF Energy Solutions, which was created through the combination of Thigpen Energy LLC, Houston-based Recapture Solutions LLC and Colorado-based Flex Leasing Power & Service, or FLPS.
