TikTok: TikTok Facing $550M In Privacy Violation Fines

According to a report from Bloomberg, TikTok will be fined by Ireland's Data Protection Commission by the end of the month. The fine, equivalent to about $553 million, stems from an investigation that found a breach of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation, as user data has allegedly been sent to China to be accessed by engineers.
