Workers demolished a once-popular nightspot in Sacramento on Tuesday, preparing the Arden-area site for a new retail building. Demolition crews began tearing down what was the T.G.I. Friday's restaurant at 1229 Howe Ave., shuttered after owner Abe Alizadeh's real estate empire collapsed six years ago.
