Topa Insurance Company: Lighthouse Adds Security Deposit Insurance

Los Angeles-based software developer Lighthouse, which develops software for landlords and tenants, says it is expanding its service, and will begun offering up security deposit insurance. The company said the new offering comes as a result of a partnership with Topa Insurance Company. Lighthouse said the service allows tenants to pay a monthly premium for insurance to cover lost rent or property damage, replacing the need for a high sum security cash deposit. Lighthouse is led by CEO Tomer Simonov.
