Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs—a State Fair favorite—is coming to Town East Ford serving corny dogs, funnel cakes and lemonade to visitors. If you’re a first responder or frontline worker, we’d like to thank you for your service by offering you a free corny dog and funnel cake on us!
All veterans, active duty military, firefighters, police, EMTs, paramedics, 911 dispatchers, teachers and healthcare professionals are included in the offer.* This is a small token of our great appreciation for the vital work that you do.
Coated in a signature batter and deep fried to perfection, Fletcher’s corny dogs have become an iconic State Fair food. The Fletcher brothers invented a new food category when they first invented and debuted them at the 1942 State Fair. It’s hard to believe that people were hesitant about eating the new cuisine on a stick at first, but over time they gained a tremendous following.
We’re happy to bring a little State Fair magic to our visitors, and especially to the courageous frontline workers and first responders who protect us. Save the date and make sure you visit Town East Ford for a mouthwatering meal!
