At the same time, the Corolla Cross will likely keep its family-friendly roots, with a cabin focused on usability and comfort. An upgraded suite of advanced driver assistance systems is also expected, giving the SUV a stronger safety story to tell. Platform and Powertrain: Familiar, But Better Toyota tends to stick with what works, so the next Corolla Cross will probably continue to ride on the TNGA-C platform, with incremental improvements.
