Go kayaking The turquoise waters and limestone cliffs which surround Phi Phi Island are a kayaker's dream. Rent a local kayak or book a kayak tour for an unforgettable day out. There is nothing more magical than exploring the majestic caves and seeing the sunset from the water. Take a Thai Cooking Class Try something different with a Thai cooking class at Pum's Thai Cooking School. Located in Tonsai Village, this school has classes ranging from 30 minutes to 6 hours long. Whether you want to cook your favourite Thai food or learn a bunch of tasty traditional Thai dishes, the choice is yours! This is not only a fun day out, you will also get to enjoy the delicious food you have prepared - and let's not forget the culinary knowledge is yours to bring back home too. Snorkel in Maya Bay - Things to do on Phi Phi Island Phi Phi Leh, the smaller island of Phi Phi boasts strikingly beautiful bays and beaches, including the renowned Maya Bay. Most famous from the film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, "The Beach", Maya Bay is always at the top of everyone's list to see when visiting the island. Snorkelling trips around the bay are truly breathtaking. Maya Bay's shallow fringing reefs are idyllic for snorkelling and there's beautiful marine life to be seen too. Hike to Phi Phi Viewpoint A hike to Phi Phi Viewpoint is one of the best things to do on Phi Phi island. The surrounding cliffs and hillsides make the island a top hiking destination. The twenty-minute walk up to Phi Phi Viewpoint can be challenging at times but the amazing panoramic view of Phi Phi Leh and Phi Phi Don will make the trip worth it. The best time to reach the top is at sunrise or sunset so get the camera out for that perfect scenic shot! Nightlife Phi Phi island is famous for its beach parties and vibrant nightlife. Its energetic and colourful nightlife is yet another reason why so many people visit every year. Bars and clubs typically stay open until the customers decide to leave, which means the fun never stops.
