Independent Fabrications Crown Jewel SEC, handbuilt in Somerville, MA This is going to be one of the lightest frames out there, at 1830g (4.03lb). The Reynolds 853 frame and Reynolds USA carbon fork comes in at 2240g (4.94lb). Both the fork and chainstays are full carbon, by Reynolds, manufactured in USA. This frame has a Top Tube of 55.5cm, 56.5cm effective due to a slightly sloping geometry. The Seat Tube is 54.5cm, with an effective length of 56, allowing for a little more clearance on standover height. The Headtube on this Crown Jewel is 16.7cm and the steerer is 26.2cm, so there is plenty of room for stem height adjustment. This is a use framed with light cable rub and a few downtube nicks from road debris. Asking price for this frameset is $1200, a steal, given the quality of this beautiful frame. Needless to say, it rides like a dream. Last, but not least. A sterling silver head badge ($150) decorates the front of this Crown Jewel.
