Ultratec: Wisconsin phone captioning firm to lay off over 600 employees, including hundreds in Milwaukee

Ultratec Inc., a Madison firm that says it's the world's largest provider of text telecommunications devices for people with hearing loss, will lay off more than 200 employees in downtown Milwaukee and hundreds more in other locations due to new technology.
