The Big Show, made for TV!!A conspiracy theory put forth for your edification by Guy Tonti!It is suggested this be read with your tongue very firmly embedded in your cheek.After watching tonight's TV show masquerading as a presidential debate, the hair on the back of my neck started to straighten a little as an idea came to me of the latest Hollywood extravaganza...Donald Trump's run for the presidency is being orchestrated and funded by the TV industry so Hillary wins!!I remember the stories about the relationship of the Clinton's and the Thomason's (ie, Designing Women, et al) - how they helped fund his early runs for office (the Man from Hope) in exchange for getting "Hollywood people" access to the Clinton's, and vice versa...face it, Bill was every bit as good an actor at the presidency as Ronald Reagan!Look back at all the entertainment folks buddying up to Bill while he was president, and then afterwards through the Clinton Foundation to Hillary (ever wonder how Al Gore got an Oscar win?).Face it, Billy Bob from Texas and Homeboy from Chicago were not the entertainment folks first choices...and Ron Reagan for president? Okay for a black president, okay for a woman president...but not quite ready for that gay president LThat means...bring back the Clintons...especially a situation where Hillary is occupied 20 hours/day so "Bill can be Bill"!So if you were "the Hollywood people" and wanted to get Hillary elected, what would you do? First, find a man to run for president as a republican with the following MO:· Believable by enough people to be taken seriously (some people will vote for him)· He will appreciate getting more notoriety...whether he wins or loses· Can see how he will benefit more from the notoriety gained by running for president than the downside that will occur when he loses (and he will lose...because...· He doesn't WANT to be president, he just wants to RUN for president· So he needs to be someone who comes across as he never loses; so when he does it is a shock!· He needs to be already well known on TV and familiar with being on camera· Needs to be available for the ~36 months from when this starts until the electionSo they look around and somehow decide...how about Donald Trump (or maybe Mark Burnett is the leader of this conspiracy!).They know to not go directly to Donald as he can't keep his mouth shut, and this minimizes any trails the press might get led to.So through 2014/15, by leveraging common friends in the entertainment industry (who are the people Donald wants to associate with), and maybe even Donald's kids (who claim to be the "manager" of his brand)...they start planting the seed for him to do this.After 12-18 months he warms to the idea as if it was his own (he is an ego-maniacal TV star after all), and runs with it.All of a sudden his name is everywhere because the news channels have basically become the "Donald Trump" channels (CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, PBS...they all play up to him). He is a great sound clip, loves being in front of crowds, and just wants to be BACK on TV!Through various manipulations behind the scenes by the media powers-that-be, the "good" candidates are pushed aside (Jeb, Marco), that leaves him against Tea Party favorite "crazy Ted Cruz" (at least that is how the TV media betrays him), and John Kasich (who the media portrays as milk toast...).And then look who is the last republican man standing!!The Donald!So now that he is on the "big stage" he can do whatever he wants...so long as enough people still believe him enough to not see through the ruse...and he leaves enough tidbits behind as the basis for the inevitable TV show he will star in next year!He goes forward just being "the Donald" and the media latch on to this so that "smart people" and minorities, the prime blocks of swing voters, both eventually view Hillary as their savior! Also, as a favor to the Republican leadership (who the entertainment industry do not want to piss off too much), Donald alienates himself so they can "mea culpa" the whole thing (and pass more legislation friendly to the entertainment industry in the years to come).So what other great benefit comes from this for the "Hollywood people" orchestrating this?This is a HUGE ratings grabber, getting people back to TV! Not just all the news coverage and the debates, but a "Donald Trump TV Show" that will surely come after (ie, give him a pulpit where he can say why "he won't abide by the election results")....and just like the retailers loving the holiday buying season...the TV people want to salivate every four (4) years for the presidential election ad buying season ($24M will be spent next week by both candidates!)...and that hasn't occurred since 2000 (then it was because of hanging chads).Now the above may not be true...it might be that the "Trump brand" was able to orchestrate this for their benefit...and they are doing a favor for the rest of the industry with getting Hillary elected!But either way...this is just too crazy to NOT be a conspiracy!The above was written with no basis in fact, all conjecture on my part.
