This month we have had the honour to work with Adam Mohamed, a 10 year old boy and founder of the RICE charity. RICE otherwise known as Reaching Individuals, Community and Everyone focuses on combating homelessness within the UK by supplying those in need with rice pudding. In this blog we will be discussing the incredibly positive impact Adam is having on the UK, and how his charity can help support thousands during challenging times. The Importance of RICE: What started off as a passionate hobby for Adam, quickly became a functioning business, after he graduated from the BusinessKids Entrepreneurial Camp. Set up by Lyndee Oscar and opened by the former Mayor John Jowers, BusinessKids reopens during the summer. With a committed focus on nurturing the next generation to not only be driven by success, but allowing participants to pursue their passions, learning is both fun and experimental. This local Colchester camp, formed in April, teaches children about financial literacy, decision-making skills and the ability to plan, helping to prepare them with the knowledge for a future career in business.
