At this rate, it will take almost four years for the last call recipients!Those who receive Social Security and other government benefits and do not file a tax return are supposed to automatically receive their $1,200 stimulus check.Starting today, August 10, 2020, those who are missing some or all of their stimulus check can contact the Taxpayer Advocate Service at https://taxpayeradvocate.irs.gov/If you received a letter from the IRS notifying you that your money was sent but still have not received the money you can do a trace on your payment. Just call the IRS at 800-919-9835 or submit IRS Form 3911. You can find the form on Google.Also, be aware that wait times on the phones can be frustrating.Here is who should start a trace on their missing payment:1. It has been five days since the scheduled deposit date2. It has been four weeks since it was mailed to a standard address3.
