Vayant : PROS Acquires Vayant Travel Technologies

Houston-based PROS, the developer of dynamic pricing software, said late Thursday that it has acquired Vayant Travel Technologies, in a deal worth $35M in cash. Vayant is based in Sofia, Bulgaria. According to PROS, the acquisition will help it offer up personalized offers to passengers in the area of advanced shopping, merchandising and inspirational travel.
