Steve, The short answer is: "I don't know". I've never had a customer who actually applied a wire brush to the veneer. I think you could use a wire brush on veneer, but only if you were very very careful not to go through the veneer itself. And of course, the coarser the brush, the more chance of it going through the veneer. I think your best bet is to experiment on some veneer w a wire brush and see what happens.
