Verengo: Verengo to cut 80 jobs with bankruptcy filing

Verengo Inc., one of the largest Southern California-based installers of residential solar panels, plans to layoff about 80 workers as it files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. In documents filed with the state, Torrance-based Verengo said it will cut 60 jobs from its Anaheim office and 22 in Torrance, effective Nov. 15, reported the Orange County Register.
