Verian: Basware acquires local tech firm, plans to hire in Charlotte

Local tech firm Verian is gaining a global footprint. The firm announced Thursday it is being acquired by Stamford, Conn.-based Basware. Basware, a provider of e-invoicing and purchase-to-pay solutions, was interested in Verian's purchasing solutions.
