Dallas-based Vinli, which develops connected car software, said on Tuesday that it has raised $13.5M more in a Series B funding. The funding came from E.ON, The Westly Group, Hersh Family Investments, and Hal Brierley. As part of the funding, Konrad Augustin of E.On Scouting, plus Kenneth Hersh of Hersh Family Investments with both join the company's board. Vinli said it will use the new funding to accelreate its partnership and expand its offering. Vinli says it is developing a machine learning platform for the connected vehicle market, which streams data to the cloud.
Vinli is a Texas-based vehicle data computing platform that provides solutions such as car engine alerts, geo-tracking and remote diagnostics for the transportation industry.
