Booking of Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line : Volkswagen India has started pre-booking for the much awaited Tiguan R-line. This model can be booked through the Volkswagen dealership or the company's official website across the country. The Tiguan R-line is to be officially launched on April 14, 2025 and will be introduced as a fully manufactured unit (CBU) in the Indian market. A quick investigation by the company's website confirms that the model is available for booking with a payment of Rs 25,000. Powertrain Volkswagen Tiguan R-line is a sports version of the standard Tiguan, with a sleek design and additional features. Made on the MQB 'Evo' platform, it is 4,539 mm in length, 1,639 mm in height and 1,842 mm in width, with a wheelbase of 2,680 mm which is earlier 30 mm long. It has 38,400 multi-pixel LEDs with IQ Light HD Matrix headlights, a thin LED bandage connecting headlights and large air Intake with a black panel. At the back, there are three-clusters LED tail lights across the tailgate. Another sporty touch includes R-line grill, dual-tone alloy wheels and dual-tip exhaust. The powertrain is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Color option Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line is offering six different monotone color options: Persimon Red Metallic, Cipperceino Green Metallic, Knightshed Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Orix White Mother of Parl Effect and OiSer Silver Metallic. The Tiguan R-line is equipped with a 10.3-inch digital instrument display with a 12.9-inch Central Touchscreen Infotainment System, both run on the latest MIB4 software platforms of Woakeswagen which is capable of obtaining over-the-air updates.
