Mankato's V-Tek is buying Royce Instruments of Napa, Calif., in a deal that officials said would expand V-Tek's presence in the electronics market. The Mankato Free Press has a report on the deal, which was announced Monday. Terms weren't disclosed. V-Tek makes consumable packaging supplies; Royce designs precision assembly tools and equipment for the semiconductor industry.
