Gary Jones from the National Assoc. of Pond Professionals (NAPP) announced in the Dec. 2008 newsletter that "Water Gardens are now part of the EPA WaterSense guidelines." This is great news for all those people that were under the impression that having a pond is a waste of our water resources. In a draft released November 2008 the EPA has released WaterSense guidelines for a "Water-Efficient Single Family New Home Specifications" to include water gardens.read more
