Wausau Paper: Sixty employees to be laid off at Dayton-area paper mill

The parent company of Wausau Paper Corp. has announced a mass layoff at its Middletown facility. Essity Operations Wausau LLC, which owns a paper mill at 700 Columbia Ave. in Middletown, is eliminating 60 positions at the facility. The layoffs are expected to be permanent, according to a notice filed with the state of Ohio.
