WCDP Blog WCDP Gives Solar to Community High School

During most of 2016 WCDP was fundraising to generate $3000 for the installation of a solar power and lighting system at the Buhoma Community High School in Buhoma, Uganda. By February, 2017, we had achieved our fundraising goal and began coordinating with the community for the installation. The community provided an additional $300 as their contribution to the project.This past June the solar installation was completed, providing lighting to all of the buildings on the High School campus.
