WCDP Blog WCDP sends $500 to Kasolwe, Uganda

Today we sent the second half of a generous donation from Joe and Janet to the Kasolwe community group, KaNaKi, to help them complete construction on a community school, the Green Courts Foundational School (GCFS). The photo to the right is a Google Earth image of the school. It currently has most of its walls and iron sheet roof, which is protecting the brick walls from rain damage. The $500 donation is going to purchase cement and iron bars to complete the walls, and pay for the labor costs.
