During a turbulent 2021 when logistics services continued to be affected by the coronavirus pandemic, WDSrx successfully collaborated with clients to alter strategies and implement solutions that maintained operations at normal levels. Upgrades in infrastructure and logistics services were also completed to help achieve business objectives. The successful outcomes generated in 2021 serve as the foundation for expansion of capabilities and facilities in 2022. Multiple infrastructure projects were accelerated during 2021. A new packaging and labeling line was installed at WDSrx Boca Raton, Florida headquarters. This line is customized for gummy vitamins and supplements. The high-speed line is capable of running 250,000 bottles during each shift in a regular five-day work week. Separately, a new steam tunnel was added to the new line later in the year to meet specialized packaging requirements for a client. New air conditioning units were installed on the roof of the new WDSrx warehouse in San Antonio, TX. All WDSrx facilities are GMP warehouses authorized to handle finished pharmaceutical products and comply with ISO certification. Full heating and air conditioning assures consistent Controlled Room Temperature within the entire facility to meet FDA compliance requirements. Also in San Antonio, a new raw materials sampling booth was installed. This specialized piece of equipment allows tests to be conducted on raw materials without leaving the storage warehouse. Product sampling is an additional capability available for clients that require product testing. Unlike new equipment and machinery, another highlight of 2021 at WDSrx is invisible to the eye. The Dayton, NJ warehouse location was accepted as a Free Trade Zone area by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency. This designation provides favorable tax considerations to international clients importing products into the United States through the WDSrx New Jersey warehouse location. Increased visibility was the reason behind installation of an exterior WDSrx sign outside the new Reno, NV warehouse. Clearly visible from the nearby highway, trucks and vehicles now see the WDSrx sign as a landmark to guide freight directly to our facility location.
