Wellgosh: Independent Leicester menswear retailer bought by JD Sports

JD Sports has acquired Leicester-based independent menswear retailer Wellgosh, according to reports in Drapers. The business was founded 30 years ago by Pete Turner. It was initially based in Silver Arcade until the arcade closed in 1998. Wellgosh is now based at 34 High Street. The value of the deal is undisclosed.
