WhiteWave: Remnants of Colorado's White Wave now gone in company name

It was a year ago - almost to the day - that French food giant Danone's completed its acquisition of Colorado-based WhiteWave Foods Co. in a $10.4 billion deal. After the deal was finalized, the companies' North American operations were combined and operated as a unit called DanoneWave, with dual headquarters in Broomfield and White Plains, New York.
