Does your story resonate? I have found when you're telling a story to an audience. It needs to be relevant for them, not for you. Sure things happened in our lives that have brought us where we are today. And that is honorable, but often that moment in time is about us, and it may not help to advance our main objective. When you're in front of an audience everything you say or do matters to them. Keep it simple and poignant, especially if you have a objective to raise capital, gain more market share, or even an objective that pertains to personal growth. The most important thing you need to remember is that the story you tell your audience will be what is remembered. Some points to remember:Map out your story ahead of time.Ask yourself how does this pertain to your audience.Have one point and support. Edit and edit some more.
