Winthrop University: Kent State dean named new president of Winthrop University

Daniel Mahony from Kent State University is the new president of Winthrop University in Rock Hill. Mahony, who is currently the dean of the college of education health and human services at Kent State, takes over at Winthrop on July 1, the university says.
