Wistron: Wistron signs MoU to make notebooks in India after iPhone business sale

Reuters, the Economic Times, and Mint reported that according to an announcement by the government of Karnataka on January 31, Taiwan-based Wistron Corp is set to invest INR15 billion (US$180.7 million) in establishing a notebook manufacturing facility in the Indian state of Karnataka, as per a non-binding agreement signed by the company.
