WSBI: EDC: Incentives request 'well worth it' to reopen plant, add 390 jobs

Garrett Owens, vice president of Winston-Salem Business Inc., told Triad Business Journal that incentives sought by Tukek Holdings Inc., a Turkish company, to offset the startup costs to upgrade and reopen the city's former Microfibres facility seem reasonable. Tukek is seeking $125,000 in incentives in a plan that would create up to 390 jobs paying $31,310, plus benefits.
