WWICS Group Blog Saskatchewan Opens Express Entry Sub-category to Accept 400 New Applications

The International Skilled Worker - Express Entry sub-category from the Province of Saskatchewan has opened up to accept 400 new applications.The announcement for the opening of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) was made on the morning of January 10th. This program which accepts application on first-come, first-served basis till the time 400 cap is reached.A job offer or a connection to Saskatchewan is not required to apply for International Skilled Worker - Express Entry sub-category. In this place, individuals who are already in Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) can be nominated by SINP provided they have the required skilled work experience, education, language proficiency and other requirements to successfully settle in Saskatchewan.Applicants who are given provincial nomination through the Express Entry sub-category get an additional of 600 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).This sub-category had opened up for five times in the year 2017 and a total of 3,200 applicants were accepted.
