What is FLOTF? The Wyncode Future Leaders of Tech Fellowship is an initiative championed by Knight Foundation, in partnership with Wyncode, to provide talented and hardworking members of underserved communities in Miami-Dade with access to premier technical education and a pathway to a career in technology. This fellowship has changed the life of many individuals, such as Johan Gace, who thanks to the Future Leaders of Tech fellowship, was able to become a Software Developer and is currently working at Univers Tech. What do recipients get? Recipients get a tuition-free opportunity to complete one of Wyncode’s full-time programs: Full-Stack Web Development or UX/UI Design, plus the opportunity to put into practice their acquired tech skills through a 3 month paid internship after graduation. Additionally, they will have lifetime access to Wyntalent Job Placement services. Who qualifies? This fellowship is for outstanding and talented individuals who, when given the training in relevant technical skills, will make a big difference in their community. Finalists: Must be a member of an underserved community in South Florida Have a combined family income of $50k or under Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preference is given to students with no or limited post-secondary education Three participants will be selected on January 29th, 2021, for our next cohort and you could be one of them!
