Few deny that the impact of artificial intelligence on training and education will be vast. And AI technologies that we already take for granted — from smart speakers to chat bots — are everywhere. Recent McKinsey research suggests that "existing technology can help teachers reallocate 20 to 40 percent of their time to activities that support student learning." Given the ubiquity of schools, universities, workforce development, and training programs both online and offline, it is safe to say that AI will have a direct effect on the lives (and learning) of billions of people.
