As expected, she did not disappoint. The relay-style video ended with Lalisa herself wearing a baby tee that read "baby i'm a rockstar" and covering her face with a black baseball cap from Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour. For the actual show, Lisa was joined on stage by multiple dancers, making for a dramatic performance with impressive choreography. The 2024 VMAs mark the first time Lisa performs alone at the famed event, but it's not the first time the singer graces the stage at the awards show. She received the award for her solo song "Lalisa."
