Seattle mobile gaming company Z2Live was scooped up by gaming giant King Digital Entertainment, better known as the makers of Candy Crush, in a deal announced Thursday. London-based King will pay $45 million in cash to acquire Z2. It will pay an additional $105 million if Z2 hits certain benchmarks, including revenues generated by specific games.
