Studio City-based AdRev, the digital rights management startup that also operates AudioMicro, has been acquired by Zealot Networks, according to AdRev founder Ryan Born. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Zealot Networks already owned a majority of AdRev, having acquired that stake in 2014 for $20M. Born said he is no longer CEO of the company, but continues on as an Advisor to Zealot. AdRev provided digital rights management for large publishers, managing rights on YouTube for those publishers.
