Zoylo Blog Pregnant for the first time? We help you sail the Boat Smoothly!!

Excitement, joy, nervousness, and fear, all these emotions at once start lingering in your mind the moment you know you are pregnant. This overwhelming experience makes you special and ecstatic. Later, when you shout it out to the world, wishes and advices start pouring in and so do your morning sickness, nausea, vomiting, and dizziness.Your brain will be loaded with too much information about do's and don'ts from your family and friends. With all these advices, you will end up perplexing yourself. So, to avoid all the confusion here is a guide to help you enjoy your pregnancy. Sleep well:Take my word for this!! You will have to spend the other one year sitting like an owl at night looking after your kid who actively plays at night while all the others are sleeping peacefully. Meaning, you are going to encounter several sleepless nights. So, enjoy your sleep before your little bundle of joy comes out and robs your sleep. Also, your body now demands more rest and relaxation. Therefore, listen to your body and take ample rest.Stay active:Pregnancy is certainly not a disease and you should not procrastinate by sticking to the bed throughout the gestation period. You can lead a normal life as long as you do not fall in the high-risk pregnancy zone. Go for walks regularly and take short naps as and when needed. Plan a vacation:Usually, the second trimester is known as the honeymoon period of the pregnancy, because by now, your morning sickness and the vomiting you experienced in the first trimester eventually subsides and by this trimester, you will get used to the pregnancy phase. So, now is the right time for you and your husband to go on a vacation before your waistline dramatically expands.Maternity wear:As your pregnancy progresses, you balloon out gradually to make room for the baby. So, invest in good maternity clothes for your enlarging tummy. Like a cherry on the cake, you get to wear a wide variety of brand-new clothes. So, why not?Never skip your prenatal vitamins:Prenatal vitamins are quite important to help your foetus grow well. They aid in the better formation of cells and body organs. Despite taking enough foods, your foetus may not get the daily dosage of vitamins. There are many proven cases where mothers ignored the medicines and the babies were born with poor health. Though the older generation women made it without relying on the medicines often, this generation is different. We know how we always brood about the adulteration of foods and their depleting quality. So, to be on the safer side, consult a gynaecologist and take the medicines without fail. If you are unsure of taking the prescribed meds on time, there are healthcare apps which remind you to take your medicines on time. Feed yourself well:Now is the time for you to cherish the foods you love. But there are certain foods and fruits that can hinder the normal formation of the baby. Instant and highly processed foods do not offer the nutrients that are required for the foetus. They do not contribute to the development and growth of the baby. Also, the regular consumption of these foods does more harm than good. So, be watchful about what you eat.Without any suspicion, you can enjoy the nuts, home-cooked foods, organic fruits and the best bet is to eat a balanced diet.Have a Safe Pregnancy!!
